Memory Mastery Training and Competition

(To be trained then to compete to win $5,000)

This competition is to encourage people to learn memorization methods that make learning easier and simpler. Though this competition has a specific subject, people can use this method to memorize basic material people use on a daily basis. This would include phone numbers, names, events, or just basic facts. As people get more familiar with this method, even memorizing a dictionary would be possible. Everybody can benefit from this method in one way or another.

Competition Information

Competition: This contest has to do with memorizing English terms, but the official content will not be revealed till they secure a seat. The competing date will be determined by the eligible participants.

Training Duration: 6 weeks – weekends (100 percent participation) and weekdays, though not mandatory. There will be 4-6 lectures. Each session will last for 2 hours and 15 minutes. (2 hours for the lecture, 15 minutes for the break) All participants must attend these lectures.

Rewards: Other than just the main benefit of improving the participant’s memory, the winner will receive a cash reward of $5000. If there is more than one winner, the cash reward will be split evenly among them.

Obligations: Participants should attend all of the training session and do all of the assignments. The data of the progression of memorization capacity due to the memorization method will be the asset of the funding source. Missing any lectures or assignments will be disqualified from the competition for the cash award.

Eligibility: To qualify for this competition, participants have to be at least 14 years old. Participants must also be able to participate in all lectures. A $15 deposit will be held to secure a seat. The deposit will be refunded once the participant fulfills his/her obligations.

Training Dates and Location: 5/17/14 – 6/22/14, Virginia, Deer Run.
